How to participate
Read all steps carefully. Merchant registration on VELLUVOM is free. Banner advertising is an optional paid service with the conditions described in Rule 4.

Register as a merchant
Register your business as a merchant in the VELLUVOM app. Complete your business details and upload business photos.

Share your business page
Start sharing your VELLUVOM business page with your contacts using the sharing function available in the app.

Add a banner linked to your business page
Banner advertising costs RM1 per day, with a minimum subscription of 30 days (minimum RM30). Send proof of payment via WhatsApp to 013-626 8080. The VELLUVOM admin will add the banner after payment is received.
Important: This is a paid advertising service. Confirm the payment method and banner specifications with VELLUVOM before paying.

Submit a short business promotional video
Create a short video promoting your business and send it via WhatsApp to 013-626 8080. VELLUVOM will upload and play the video on VELLUVOM social media accounts throughout the contest period, subject to the video meeting the platform's content requirements and technical specifications.

Review the judging criteria
The judging criteria are published at www.velluvom.com/goldcontest. Participants should review and follow the criteria. Keep this page updated with the full scoring criteria before the contest closes.

Judges' decision
The judges' decision is final, and no argument will be entertained thereafter.

Acceptance of terms
By participating in the contest, you agree to the contest terms and conditions.
Contest rules and regulations
- Campaign period: The campaign period is 10 October 2026 to 11 November 2026. Entries or activity outside this period may not qualify unless VELLUVOM announces otherwise in writing.
- Accurate information: Participants must provide truthful business information and use photos and videos they are authorised to share.
- Business content: VELLUVOM may decline to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, infringing, technically unsuitable or otherwise inappropriate for its platforms.
- Paid banner service: Banner advertising is optional and costs RM1 per day with a minimum 30-day subscription. Proof of payment must be sent to WhatsApp 013-626 8080. The admin will add the banner after payment is received. Participants should retain their payment proof.
- Judging: Entries will be assessed according to the criteria published on the contest page. VELLUVOM should publish the criteria, scoring method, any tie-break procedure, and the winner announcement process before the contest closes.
- Verification: VELLUVOM may request reasonable information to verify a participant's business listing and eligibility. Duplicate, fraudulent or materially incomplete entries may be disqualified in accordance with the published rules.
- Prize details: Prize description, gold purity and weight should be stated clearly in the official campaign material. Do not assume a particular weight unless it is expressly specified by VELLUVOM.
- Winner contact and announcement: Add the official winner announcement date, notification method, response deadline and process for an unresponsive winner before publishing the final rules.
- Privacy and publicity: Personal information submitted for the contest should be handled only for disclosed contest and administration purposes in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. Obtain permission before using a winner's name, image, business details or testimonial in promotional content.
- Changes or cancellation: Any provision allowing VELLUVOM to amend, suspend or cancel the campaign should be reviewed and clearly disclosed before the campaign begins, subject to applicable law.
- Acceptance: Participation constitutes acceptance of the official contest terms and conditions.
Before publishing: Complete the outstanding details for eligibility, exact prize weight, judging/scoring method, tie-break process, winner notification and announcement date. Have the final promotion terms reviewed for compliance with Malaysian law, especially because the contest awards a valuable prize and includes an optional paid advertising service.
Administrator update area: Insert the final judging scorecard and winner announcement details here. Keep this section aligned with any posters or social media advertisements.
